How Do We Raise Funds?

In additional to funds raised through annual membership dues, we also have several ways to raise funds that go to the support of the Mammoth Lakes Branch Library. These include:

Conduct used book sales to provide good quality books at a bargain-basement prices.

Operate Mammoth's used book store, the Book Chalet, at 645 Old Mammoth Rd (across from the Stove Restaurant). There is a large selection of good quality used books at low prices. Please call the store at (760) 924-2593 to make sure that we are open for you to shop for books, or to volunteer your time.

Sell rare and collectible vintage books on the internet.  You can purchase any of the books listed in our stores at alibris.com and at Amazon.com.

Hold raffles, auctions, and other fundraisers.

Tote Bags! Mammoth Lakes Friends of the Library Tote Bags avavilable at the Mammoth Lakes Library for only $5.00 each. It's made from recycled materials and is large enough to hold those big shopping items.
